| Happy April! Hello Parrotheads, Happy Tax day.. in a normal year!! Friendly reminder of the Club Meeting Saturday night April 17! Phlocking at Hoppers!! The capacity restrictions have changed since last month, but they said the Parrotheads did such a great job following the mask requirements and social distancing rules, that we can have another meeting there! The same rules will apply this month… you will have to wear masks when moving around or not at your table. You can remove your masks while sitting at your table, but if you get up from your table, you’ll be required to wear your mask. Our raffle charity this month will the “Lunch and Life” This is a program created by a church in Golden, that provides lunches for students at Red Rocks Community College. Most people don’t realize many of the Red Rocks students are receiving financial support in order to attend classes, and many of them go without food for the day. This program provides food to the students who need lunch. ******************************************************************* Jimmy Buffett is hosting virtual concerts again!! He started a “Nothin’ But Time” tour that kicks off this Saturday!! These are shows from the past that are being shown on Saturday nights! I have no idea what that means for our shows in September… all I can say is everyone keep your fingers crossed that they will be back to full capacity concerts by September!!! ******************************************************************* Summer Concert Series… The Landsharks are coming!! Gary Roland and the Landsharks band will be playing at the Arvada Smoking’ Tuna (Pete’s house) on the night between the Buffett shows at Red Rocks. Jimmy is playing at Red Rocks on Tuesday, September 7 and Thursday, September 9, 2021. The Landsharks will play on Wednesday, September 8, 2021! Many Parrotheads from other clubs will be in town for the Buffett Red Rocks shows, so we will extend an invitation to members of other clubs to join the Colorado Parrotheads at Pete’s house for the “Concert in Between.” It’ll be a great time to meet fellow Parrotheads from all over! Tickets will be a wristband (left over from last year’s show that didn’t happen) They will be $40 each. Contact Pete or reply to this email for tickets (wristband). We are running low on club t-shirts for our 25th Anniversary. We have a few left in each size, but not a big assortment of colors any more. (Possible color options are: Pink, as shown below, Black, Butter Yellow, Caribbean Blue, Steel Gray, Periwinkle, Salmon and Sea Foam Green). The SHOW HAS MOVED AGAIN… TO August 2021!!Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few. We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each. Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online.
