The Colorado Parrot Head Club was founded in 1994 by Todd and Maureen Rule as a Jimmy Buffett fan club serving Parrot Heads in Denver and the surrounding areas. We are a collection of folks who embrace the music, literary works, lifestyle, and attitude of Jimmy Buffett.
The Colorado Parrot Head Club promotes social and civic activities for people with similar interests, centered around the laid-back tropical spirit of Jimmy Buffett’s music. Membership is open to anyone interested in combining fun with community service. You don’t even have to love Jimmy Buffett to join!
The Colorado Parrot Head Club is a Colorado not-for-profit organization that supports many local and national charities through our fundraising, volunteer activities, and our annual Party With a Purpose. We are a chartered member of Parrot Heads in Paradise. As a part of PHiP we are a member of a network of Parrot Head Clubs worldwide that annually donates millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours to local, national, and international charities and organizations.
Above all else, the Colorado Parrot Heads are about camaraderie and having fun! On the 3rd Saturday of each month, we gather at Hopper’s Sports Grill for our monthly meeting, where we enjoy food, drink, and socializing with fellow members and friends. Every summer, we host Party With a Purpose, a full-day celebration featuring live music from national artists. Other CPHC activities often include Beer Fridays, house concerts, the annual Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and other planned or spontaneous gatherings. Anytime you get a few Parrot Heads together, there will be a party!
