Join CPHC in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s

This year we’re bringing our CPHC Walk to End Alzheimer’s team back together! Kelly Kirchmar-Heger has agreed to be a Team Captain for this event, and we know she’s going to help get everyone pumped up for this great cause! With Kelly’s help we’re sure to make this a successful event, but we really need your help. We need
walkers to participate in the walk on Saturday, September 17th in Denver. We also need people to help us raise some money to support this important cause. We’ve always finished in the Top 10 of PHIP teams for this event, so help us do it again and let’s show everyone how well CPHC parties with a purpose! To get more info, to sign up to walk, or to show your support with a donation for our team visit:http://act.alz.org/goto/coloradoparrotheadclub

CPHC Flags

We have heard your calls for more Colorado Parrot Head Club merchandise, and we have several fun things in the works. Look for hats, t-shirts and more coming very soon! For right now we’re getting ready to place an order for more Colorado Parrot Head Club flags. These are high-quality 3’ by 5’ flags (with grommets) as seen in the photo in the top left corner of this email. We’re hoping to order at least 12, which would put the cost at approximately $75-$80 each. We’ll get a firm estimate when we know how exactly many we’ll be ordering. If you would like to purchase an official CPHC flag, please reply & let know so you’ll be guaranteed to get one when we place the order. You’ll want to have one to fly at our Red Rocks tailgate in October, or to take to MOTM this November… just saying! Plan ahead & order with us now.

Speaking of Red Rocks…

If you haven’t heard the news, we have picked up our tickets! We still have a bit of work to do to get them all sorted out before we can distribute them, but that should be happening soon. Our seats are in the center of the front section, most of them being between rows 24 and 29. Stay tuned & we’ll be sending info out about picking up your tickets very soon.

Celebrate National Tequila Day!

Finally, this Sunday, July 25th is National Tequila Day! I’m sure many of you don’t need a special day to celebrate with a margarita, but now you have a perfect excuse! If you need some ideas of where to enjoy National Tequila Day in Denver, we found this article from Drink Nation with a little history on tequila, and plenty of suggestions to find a spot to celebrate National Tequila Day in Denver: http://denver.thedrinknation.com/dpblog/read/13132-Where-to-Enjoy-National-Tequila-Day-in-Denver#.

We’d love to see pictures of how you celebrate National Tequila Day! Make sure you share them with us on ourCPHC Facebook page!

Finally… THANK YOU!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our last club meeting and toasted Jim Morris. We raised an incredible $1000 for Jim’s favorite charity, “Shoes For Kids.” Your generosity is incredible. I also wanted to thank so many of you for signing up to volunteer at next month’s Party For A Purpose. This club rocks, and I appreciate every one of you for helping to make all of our events so successful. Cheers to you!

That’s all for today. Have a great weekend!

Fins Up!
