Today is Thursday and it’s one of my favorite days of the year – It’s national IPA Day! Yes, I love some tequila and would never turn down a Margarita, but when it comes to beer I’m all about the IPAs. So join me in a toast for IPA day today – even if you want to toast me with Bud Light. After all it’s Friday-eve, so it’s time to get the weekend started!
Kelly McGuire House Concert
This Saturday night we have another great Trop Rock house concert! Kelly McGuire will be at Donna and JJ Klikus’ home at 18980 Shiloh Ranch Dr in NE Colorado Springs. Doors open at 6pm and tickets are just $20 per person. Bring your own chair, beverage, and bring a snack to share. Flags, Hats & T-Shirts – Oh My!
We have a lot of CPHC merchandise on the horizon! Flags are being ordered for those of you who requested them, and we’re currently taking t-shirt pre-orders! If you haven’t already ordered your CPHC Party With A Purpose shirt, check your email, you should have gotten the ordering info yesterday. Let me know if you need it resent. We are also placing an order for club hats, koozies, and some special edition Red Rocks t-shirts. Watch for info on those items coming soon!
Party With A Purpose Update
We are just a few weeks away from our annual Party With A Purpose featuring Thom Shepherd and Coley McCabe. If you have items you’ll be donating to the silent auction, we’d like to get them all over to Lee by this Saturday so we can begin getting everything prepared. Reach out to Lee Grodsky on Facebook if you haven’t already touched base about your donation. We have some really sweet stuff lined up for this party. Most importantly, all proceeds from the silent auction and raffle goes to TLC Meals on Wheels!
More Thom & Coley Shows
If you didn’t get tickets to see Thom and Coley at our Party With A Purpose on August 20th, you can still see these great musicians perform when they come to Colorado later this month. Thom and Coley have not one… not two… but THREE more shows planned while they’re in Colorado! Below are some details on the other Thom and Coley performances. Who is with me to go to all four?
- Thursday, August 18 @ the Cherry Creek Marina with opening act Bella Hudson. Get more info or purchase your tickets here. Show starts at 7:30pm and tickets are $15 (plus park entry)
- Friday, August 19 @ Roger & Vicki Sams’ home in Colorado Springs. Tickets are $20 for this house concert. Doors open at 6:30pm. Contact Vicki to RSVP or get more info at [email protected]
- Sunday, August 21st @ the Smiling Toad Brewery in Colorado Springs. Come listen to some great music while you enjoy some Pina Colada beer! Show is at 5:00pm and tickets are $20. Get more info here.
