Rest in Paradise, Jimmy

I never thought we’d lose our Captain so soon.

Jimmy Buffett started a culture of escapism with a simple song, Margaritaville.  From his music, to his lifestyle, to his giving back to charity, he made us want to enjoy life every day.  Something that we, as Parrotheads, have embraced in our clubs and day to day lives.

We will miss Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, the concerts, and the tailgates… but, we will endure and continue with his legacy.  Living our lives like a song, we will continue to raise money for those in need, we will continue to listen to his music, and support the artists that are following in his footsteps.  Of utmost importance, we will keep being what we are best at… Parrotheads.

We are committed to ensuring that the memories of Jimmy and the feelings and smiles he brought us will live on.

Thank you all, for being in our Parrothead Family, and thank you, Jimmy, for all the years of taking us on vacation with you, no matter where we are.  We love and miss you.

Sail On…

“He lived his life like a song, till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”
