Concert Week News!
We have some VERY important info & updates for you below, so be sure you check it all out
Jimmy Buffett Red Rocks, tomorrow!
Tomorrow the big day is finally here! We will be partying at Red Rocks for Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer’s first show on the Rocks in 25 years! Here is what you NEED to know:
Officially, the Red Rocks parking lot opens 2 hours before the show for concert-goers. If you call Red Rocks (and please, don’t keep calling them) this is what you’ll be told. However, in practice the parking lot opens early for the park, and they are typically very accommodating for early tailgaters. That being said, anything can change at a moment’s notice so please watch our Colorado Parrot Head official Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/coloradoparrotheadclub/) for real time updates tomorrow.
Regardless of when you decide to show up for tailgating, you should find fellow Parrot Heads to party with. Yes, a group of us will be showing up early – but by ALL means – you don’t need to. Show up when you want. Parrot Heads will be scattered throughout the park, so party at your tailgate or wander around the lot, you’ll be sure to find fellow Parrot Heads to celebrate with. There is really no one location for everyone to phlock to, since we can’t offer a group tailgate party at Red Rocks. Treat it like any other Red Rocks show. Park, set up shop, and wander around to visit, meet new folks, and enjoy the festivities. And again, watch Facebook for updates, info and party day pictures.

NO MEETING THIS SATURDAY
Because of the concert, and because your club leadership team will all be out of town this coming weekend, we are pushing the October club meeting out one week. Our October club meeting will be Saturday, October 22nd at Hopper’s. Same time, same place, just one week later. Also, please understand that Hopper’s is a sports bar – and a Nebraska football bar at that. There is a Nebraska game on early that afternoon, so if you show up early the game may still be on. Be nice to the Nebraska fans, as this is their meeting place, too. Their game should be wrapped up by 6pm, but if you arrive early there is often some overlap. So either don’t arrive early, or be there to cheer on Nebraska! Go sports!
That’s it for today. Remember, stay tuned to Facebook tomorrow for important concert-day info!
See you on the Rocks!
