Good morning and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Hopefully you have all recovered from last weekend’s parade and are ready to celebrate the Irish again today!

Parade Recap
The parade is over and I think that we can safely say that this was another successful year! Even the cold and drizzly weather couldn’t dampen our parade! Meeting This Saturday
Our March club meeting is this Saturday, March 18. Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day one day longer by joining us at Hopper’s at 6:00 PM! As with all our meetings, we’ll be collecting non-perishable foods and Peanut Butter, plus your pop tops!
This Month’s Raffle Charity
We received sad news yesterday that a tragedy has struck close to home. A tragic accident has affected the family of Scott and Becky Clark. Scott’s sister-in-law and niece were killed in a car accident yesterday, and his nephew was badly injured in the accident. The family is, understandably, devastated. This month our raffle proceeds will go to support the family with their memorial and medical costs. Please consider bringing a little extra cash for raffle tickets. We’ll also happily accept any donations for items to be raffled off, so we can make this a big, successful raffle. Thank you in advance for your help. Las Vegas Concert Tickets
For those of you who purchased club tickets to the Vegas show on April 1, we heard that tickets are on the way. Unfortunately, they won’t be here before the meeting – the tracking info suggests we’ll get the tickets on Tuesday. As soon as we have the tickets I’ll plan a meetup for you to pick them up. It will probably be next Thursday (3/23) or Friday (3/24) at Lone Tree Brewing in Highlands Ranch. If you don’t think you’ll be able to make a pickup next week, let me know now and I can put the tickets in the mail to you as soon as they’re received. Please send me your address so I make sure we get them to the right place. And please, have an extra margarita for me while you’re in Vegas!
Upcoming House Concerts & Party With a Purpose
Spring is around the corner, and summer will be here before we know it. And although they can be held any time of the year, summer is the peak season for house concerts. Already on the calendar we have Mark Mulligan and Kelly Maguire coming in July, plus John Frinzi in August. And don’t forget the 5th Annual Party With A Purpose concert, featuring John Frinzi and Aaron Scherz, which is happening on Saturday, August 19. The Party With A Purpose is our biggest fundraiser of the year, so please join us for music, drinks, food, and tons of PHUN! Tickets for that show are $25 and are limited, so get them while you can. You can buy them at this month’s club meeting.
In Search Of House Concert Venues
We have several great Trop Rock musicians that come through town, looking for a home where they can play. We are especially looking for folks in the Denver Metro area (and suburbs) that may be interested in hosting. If you think you could host a small concert in your home or yard, and want more info, please let us know. We have a few folks down south that host house concerts but could always use more “venues.”
