It’s meeting week!!
The December meeting is this Saturday, the 16th (3rd Saturday of the month). As always, at Hopper’s Sports Bar in Wheat Ridge,
5pm – 7pm.
We will have an ugly sweater contest with a prizes, so be creative!
We will also have a gift exchange. For each wrapped gift you bring, you will get a raffle ticket. When your number is drawn, you can go pick a gift off the table or take one that has already been opened. I shouldn’t have to remind people.. but I do..no hiding the gifts you win and pretending you didn’t get it. If someone wants the one you have already opened, please be honest about it.
We will do a 50/50 raffle for the night, and also, we will be raffling off a pair of tickets to the Mammoth Beach Night!!
Our charity for the month will be “Back to the Blue K-9 Fund.” This fund provides safety and medical needs of Law Enforcement K-9s. This includes protective vests, needed equipment, surgeries, etc. Requests for needed equipment are made by the K-9 handlers.
Don’t forget, Saturday morning, (Dec 16) we will be placing wreaths on the graves at Fort Logan National Cemetery. We plan on arriving about 9:30am. We’ll go in the front gate and park along that main road. As in year’s past, we will look for everyone so we can get a group photo before we start placing the wreaths. You can always text or call Pete to find out where we are.
The ceremony begins at 10am, and we will start placing wreaths immediately following the ceremony.

Beach Night with the Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse!
December 30!!
The Colorado Mammoth vs Vancouver Warriors. This will be a VERY fun event! You won’t want to miss it!
Some of the Parrotheads will be down in the ‘Loud Zone’ / ‘Party Zone’ with the band. (The dark gray area on the seat map when you click on the link). Others will be sitting in the two zones, colored on pink on the seat map (sections 106 and 120).
“The Groove Time Sitters” will be playing your favorite beach music, at the “Loud House.” (The Party Zone set up behind one of the goals)
The band will be playing during the game at time outs and other breaks in the action, at halftime, and for an hour after the game. It should be a very fun night!
Tickets start at $30! Bring your friends and family! The Mammoth games are always a lot of fun, and Beach Night will make it even better!! You do not have to be a member of the Colorado Parrothead Club to attend, and the event is open to all ages.
We are STILL working on a Colorado Parrothead Club License Plate! Robin is working with the DMV on the process. What a long process this is!!
We will need 3000 signatures to get this done. We’ll be hitting all of you up for your signatures for the petition as soon as the paperwork has been submitted.
