The weather outside is frightful! I hope everyone is staying warm!
Thank you to all who attended November’s meeting and donated to our 2 charities! We had a very full car load of items that went to Tennyson Center for Children. Everything we sent was greatly appreciated! We also raised enough money from our raffle, we were able to buy 30 wreaths for Fort Logan National Cemetery.
As part of National Wreaths Across America Day, we will be gathering at Fort Logan National Cemetery on December 17, at 10am, to place wreaths on the graves of American Heroes. We are signed up to help place veterans’ wreaths on the headstones in the Front Section from 10am until all wreaths are placed. When you get to the parking lot, look for signs that say ‘Front Section’ and we will meet where the wreaths are being distributed for that section.
Please join us for our annual Christmas meeting on December 17, 6pm at Hopper’s Sports Bar in Wheat Ridge.
We will have our annual ugly/festive Christmas sweater contest, so get creative! There will be nice prizes for the best women’s sweater and best men’s sweater.
We will also have a gift exchange. Please bring a wrapped gift. For each wrapped gift, you will get a ticket. We’ll draw a ticket, and when your number is called, you will select a gift from the table and unwrap it. After the first person selects a gift, when your number is called, you can take a wrapped gift from the table or you can take one that has already been opened. If someone takes your gift, you will go back to the table to select another one.We will also have a raffle. This month’s raffle will be a special one. As most of you know, club members Phil and Deb Anderson recently lost their beautiful daughter, Tiana. Tiana had Cystic Fibrosis, and passed away in November, 3 days before her 32nd birthday. So, for the raffle this month, we will be donating all the money we collect to the Anderson’s special Cystic Fibrosis charity in honor of Tiana. Please help us out by bringing fun and cool raffle items.

Sneak Peak to Party with a Purpose!
We’ve got some amazing musicians coming this year. So far, we have secured Donny Brewer and Eric Erdman! We are also working with a couple more musicians to make it an amazing day! This will be a wonderful PWAP! Mark your calendars for July 29, 2023!! We are considering making this a 2 day event, Friday evening and Saturday (July 28 and 29) or Saturday and Sunday (July 29 and 30). You won’t want to miss it!

St Patrick's Day Parade
It is almost that time of year again! We are officially signed up for the Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade!! This year’s Parade will be Saturday, March 11, 2023. We will have the big 52′ flatbed trailer from Duffy’s Crane Service again. Stay tuned for details on float build and parade information!
