Hello Parrot Heads. Happy June! I hope everyone is doing well.

June Meeting:

Hoppers can NOT have all of us there. They have to follow the government’s rules with only 50% capacity.. and yes that includes the outside area…only 6 to a table, they can only use every other table, and no one can mingle at other tables, etc.

We are still on for the next meeting at Pete’s. Please note the date is FRIDAY rather than Saturday. For those who are comfortable, please join us THIS Friday (Tomorrow) June 19 – 6pm – 8pm.

Parking is available in the restaurant to the North of Pete’s house.

We’ll practice social distancing, masks are optional, but let’s all be conscious of social distancing, please.

Bring your own dinner. Hoppers said they will provide a keg of beer to us, but if you want something other than beer, please bring your own drinks.

Don’t forget to bring a chair!

In case you don’t remember, it’s where the float builds are at 5461 Marshall Street, Arvada.

Looking for something to do tonight??

One of music’s most respected creators, Mac McAnally, (https://www.macmcanally.com)
has partnered with the leading live music platform for concert recordings and live streams, nugs.net (https://www.nugs.net) for a live stream performance from McAnally’s in-home studio in Muscle Shoals, AL, on June 18th. This intimate location will create a home-court advantage for McAnally and fans will hear songs that were written within the walls of this performance space—his home! Ace session player and fellow member of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, Eric Darken, will join McAnally on percussion, and together (socially distanced) they will bounce back-and-forth between instruments, rooms, and perhaps even the front porch; the performance going hand in hand with the release of McAnally’s new record, Once in a Lifetime. Out July 31st on Mailboat Records, Once in a Lifetime is a studio reflection of McAnally’s intimate live show in which the all-new material is arranged around mostly guitar and percussion, though a few tracks on the album admittedly outgrew the simple setup. Rolling Stone premiered the title track featuring Drake White, calling it an “uplifting, authentic tune.” “Once in a Lifetime” can be heard at https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-country/mac-mcanally-once-in-a-lifetime-1003347/ and in rotation on SiriusXM’s Margaritaville (Ch. 24). Pre-orders are available now at https://store.macmcanally.com/collections/frontpage/products/once-in-a-lifetime-bundle-pre-sale. and include a Once in a Lifetime ballcap and t-shirt. Nugs.net will distribute the free stream on Mac’s Facebook page starting at 7pm Central Time on Thursday, June 18th, 2020.
June 18th’s stream will be captured in 4K by multi Emmy Award-winning production company,
7 Cinematics, who have produced events for other top-level artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tyler Childers, The Avett Brothers, Widespread Panic, and hundreds of others.

Jimmy Buffett has moved the Red Rocks show to September 2021. The new dates are Sept 7 and 9.

Thank you to those who responded. If you have not responded, I will keep your tickets held for next year. If you had Thursday night tickets, you will still have Thursday night tickets, etc. If you want a refund, please include your current address on your request. I found out some people moved 10+ years ago and the roster still has the old address on it. I’d rather not run into problems when sending out checks.

Free CDs for those who bought a ticket to the show!!
It looks like most people have gotten their CDs this week. If you have not gotten 1 CD per ticket purchased,, please let me know, and I will follow up with Mailboat Records. Also, when you let me know, please include your current mailing address. We have worked hard at getting all the correct addresses, but we still have incorrect ones, and the guys at Mailboat and I are working through the list of issues.

PLEASE NOTE: MOTM HAS BEEN POSTPONNED until 2021

By now, those who registered should have gotten their money back. If you have not, contact Andrew Talbert, with PHIP.

Misc. Events

Jeff Dunham is coming to the 1ST BANK Center (Broomfield Events Center).

The SHOW IS MOVED TO December 12, 2020!!
Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few. We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each. Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online. It will be a very fun night. “Jeffafa” is a SUPER funny!

Contact Robin if you’d like to buy tickets. (by replying to this email)
