It’s Meeting Week!!
Please join us this Saturday for our monthly meeting. This is an important one, as we will be collecting our items for the Tennyson Center for Children, and the raffle money that we collect will go to buy wreaths for the graves at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
We need to collect everything at the November meeting, because the Tennyson Center needs everything by the first week of December, and the wreaths for Fort Logan also need to be purchased by the first week of December.
Mark your calendars and please join us Saturday night, November 19, 2022 at Hopper’s Sports Bar in Wheat Ridge.
Please help us out by bringing a raffle item or two to make this a great night!
We will also be gathering at Fort Logan National Cemetery on December 17, at 10am to place wreaths on the graves. Stay tuned for more details!

We have 2 sets of items needed for the Tennyson Center for Children.
First, we are collecting items for their Christmas Shop. Operation Giving is the Tennyson Center’s longstanding gift-giving program that helps to make the holiday season special for kids and families they serve. They rely exclusively on donations from the community to make this program possible and are so grateful for the generosity and compassion displayed each year.Please bring small items that the kids can purchase for their loved ones, such as key chains, ornaments, fancy ink pens, flashlights, etc. These items will be used to stock the Gift Shop. The Gift Shop is a one-day event where the kids and families they serve, select and wrap gifts for their family members and loved ones. Second, we will be collecting items for the kids “Wish List.” This year they are asking for:
Children’s winter accessories (hats, gloves, etc)
New Coats
Dolls or barbies
Hot Wheels
Legos
Household cleaning items
Outside toys (bikes/ supplies for sports, etc.)
New Blankets/ bedding sets
New Bath towels
Kitchen supplies
Family games
Puzzles
Books

MOTM
Another Meeting of the Minds is in the books. This was the 30th Annual MOTM, and was also the last one that will be held in Key West. Next year’s MOTM will be held in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Watch for details!
Below is a picture of some of the Colorado Parrotheads who were at MOTM this year. We had 48 CPHC members in Key West this year! We had one heck of a time trying to find a time where 48 people could make it at the same time, so we are missing quite a few!
