Happy Friday, and welcome to the “Ber”months
Update on Red Rocks:
In case you haven’t heard, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers have announced that all attendees must receive a negative COVID-19 “Antigen” test within 24 hours of the event, OR have received a negative COVID-19 “Molecular” test within 48 hours of the event OR have been fully vaccinated (14 days past final vaccination shot) at the time of the event and provide proof upon entry.
See Red Rocks website for more information.
Please note: If you cannot adhere to these requirements for admittance, you will be allowed to obtain a refund up until Friday, September 3, 2021 at 6:00PM Mountain Time.
These are not my rules. I did not make them up, nor can I get anyone an exemption. I have been inundated with requests, comments and questions, of ALL sorts. Please look at the Red Rocks website for information on this topic.
I still have a few tickets left to be picked up.
I will be available for you to pick up your tickets, off and on all weekend. Please contact me by replying to this email to let me know when you want to meet me to get your tickets. I will be at Pete’s house (5461 Marshall St). If you don’t let me know when you are going to be there, I may not be hone, If you have Thursday night tickets, I can give them to you at the Landsharks house concert. We will be at the tailgate on Tuesday and Thursday if you can’t get your tickets before then.
Speaking of tailgating…
Red Rocks parking lots open 1 hour before sunrise. They are open to the public until 2pm. After 2pm, you have to show them a ticket to get in.
We will be meeting at the Conoco in Morrison to caravan up. We will meet at 4:30am (yes, you read that right, 4:30am). We will drive in together around 5am, to the Upper South Lot (enter through Entrance 3 on the Morrison side) and attempt to save a few rows for tailgating. This is a bring your own everything kind of tailgate. (that means bring your own food, drink, chairs, sunscreen, etc). Please refer to the tailgating rules for Red Rocks, specifically the ones about NO GLASS, NO OPEN FLAME, NO TENTS, etc. Bringing glass is the fastest way to be kicked out of the park.

Misc. Housekeeping: Now is a great time to update your mailing address, email addresses and phone numbers with the club, if you have moved within the past few years, please send me your current information, so I can update the roster. The CDs that came out with the Red Rocks Concert tickets showed we have a lot of old and incorrect information.
