Hello Parrotheads. Happy Thursday! I hope this newsletter finds everyone safe and healthy!
We are still in need of items to be donated for the Tennyson Center for Children.
We need enough for 30 kids. Please help us!
Details for Tennyson Center for Children: Every year, the Tennyson Center has a Christmas Party for the kids. This year, there won’t be an “in person” party, but they will still give kids the gifts we are providing. They collect mittens/gloves, hats, socks. blankets, toiletries/personal hygiene items and small toys or candy to go with these items.
The Community Table Food Bank has generously donated backpacks and school supplies for all the kids! That was a wonderful addition to our collection, and will be greatly appreciated!!
We have collected quite a bit, but we still need:
10 more blankets
13 more hats
10 more pairs of gloves
30 pairs of socks
small toys/candy enough for all 30 kids
30 gift bags.. large enough to hold a blanket and the other smaller items.
Please note – as for sizes – we need a variety of sizes, as the kids range in age from 4 to 17. So, please remember the teenagers as you are buying items, and include a some bigger socks, hats and gloves.
Please give Pete a call or text him so we can arrange getting the items from you.
You can also contact Pete, Robin or Karen via email and we can arrange getting the items from you. Karen lives in the South part of the city, so for all of you down in that area, contact Karen to arrange getting your donations to her.
We need all the items before December 1.

Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few. We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each. Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online. It will be a very fun night. “Jeffafa” is a SUPER funny!
Contact Robin if you’d like to buy tickets.
