CPHC Newsletter
Hello Parrotheads. Happy December! In some ways it is hard to believe this year is almost over, in other ways this year has seemed like we’re living in dog years… where 1 year feels like 7. I hope this newsletter finds you all happy and healthy!
Thank you to all who donated to the Tennyson Center for Children! We had a fantastic turnout! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
We needed enough for 30 kids, but we collected enough for all 45 of the at risk kids currently at the center!
Every year, the Tennyson Center has a Christmas Party for the kids. This year, there will not be an “in person” party, but they will still give kids the gifts we are providing. The kids range in age from 3 years old to 17 years old. We collected mittens/gloves, hats, socks. blankets, toiletries/personal hygiene items, small toys, candy, gift bags, back packs, school supplies and a huge box of board games! In addition to all the items mentioned, we collected almost $1000 in cash for the center, that they will use to buy Walmart Gift Cards for each child.
The Parrotheads hit a home run on this one! Thank you again!
PHIP Elections
We have another special election coming up in the PHIP. If you hadn’t heard, our newly elected PHIP President, Bart Mason, of the Isle of Iowa PHC, recently passed away due to COVID-19. As we are all still mourning the loss of Bart and not wanting to be insensitive to Michele Mason and family, Bart would have wanted the PHIP to follow protocol. Thus, per the bylaws, the call for nominations has gone out. Nominations are open to any Parrothead in good standing. If any of you are interested in running for PHIP President, please contact me this week, so I can show you how to get your name in for the nominations.
Membership Renewal
It’s that time of year again, time for our membership renewal!

Misc. Housekeeping: Now is a great time to update your mailing address, email addresses and phone numbers with the club, if you have moved within the past few years, please send me your current information, so I can update the roster. The CDs that came out with the Red Rocks Concert tickets showed we have a lot of old and incorrect information.
Club T-shirts!!
We are running low on club t-shirts for our 25th Anniversary. We have a few left in each size, but not a big assortment of colors any more. (Possible color options are: Pink, as shown below, Black, Butter Yellow, Caribbean Blue, Steel Gray, Periwinkle, Salmon and Sea Foam Green).
Please contact Robin or Pete to arrange getting your cool new club shirt! The cost is $30 each. (if you can’t pick one up, drop a check in the mail to us and please add $5 per shirt for shipping.)

The Lone Star Luau!!!
Lone Star Luau 5 has been postponed!!!
The Luau will still be held in Conroe, Texas at the beautiful Margaritaville Lake Resort

(Broomfield Events Center).
The SHOW HAS MOVED AGAIN… TO August 2021!!
Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few. We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each. Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online. It will be a very fun night. “Jeffafa” is a SUPER funny!
