CPHC Newsletter
Hello Parrotheads. What a crazy world we live in these days! As of this moment, we don’t know who will be our next President of the United States of America. I hope that no matter who wins, we can all still be friends and neighbors. In a world where you can be anything, be kind.
Since we can’t have meetingsā¦ stillā¦ please give a fellow Parrothead a call or text just to say hi. Remember, Kindness is the mark we leave on the world. Be kind.
Thanks to those who came out to our First Annual CPHC Car Show!!! It was a lot of fun! We have quite a collection of nice cars in our group!
We collected just over 300 pounds of food for the food bank, and $200 for them.
We also collected a LOT of blankets, hats and gloves for the Tennyson Center for Children, but we still have a ways to go to get everything they need.
We need enough for 30 kids. Please help us!
Details for Tennyson Center for Children: Every year, the Tennyson Center has a Christmas Party for the kids. They give the kids essential items. They need gloves/mittens, socks, blankets and cute little things to go with them, like candy or some small item. They also need personal hygiene items, like soaps, toothpaste and shampoos. Please give Pete a call or text him so we can arrange getting the items from you.
You can also contact Pete, Robin or Karen via email and we can arrange getting the items from you.
Another sad day for the Colorado Parrothead Club.
We’ve lost another member, Nick Zetter. Nick passed away last week, due to complications from COVID-19. Some of you may remember Nick from meetings several years ago, jumping in with his guitar and joining our “house band,” Three Sheets to the Wind. Nick happily grabbed his guitar and joined in on occasion. Most of you will remember Nick as Janette’s best friend. Rest in Paradise, Nick and we’ll see you again one day at Heaven’s Parrothead Club Meeting. Sail on, my friend.

PHIP Special Election for the new PHIP President:

Congratulations to all of our new leadership team, and we look forward to working with you and making our “Parrothead World” a great one!

Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few. We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each. Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online. It will be a very fun night. “Jeffafa” is a SUPER funny!
Contact Robin if you’d like to buy tickets.
