Hello Parrot Heads. Happy July. Thanks to everyone who showed up at Janette’s Pool Party! Thank you, Janette, for opening your beautiful home and pool to us.. it was a wonderful evening!
There will be no July Club meeting. Hopper’s still can’t have a large group, and there are still too many rules in place for social distancing, so no July cub meeting.
We’ll see everyone at the Party With a Purpose on July 25th!!!
July 25, 2020 Party with a Purpose!
This year’s PWAP is almost here!!! July 25, 3:00pm, at Pete’s house on the BIG STAGE!!… the Arvada Smokin’ Tuna Stage!
Our Opening band will be a local band called “The Groove Time Sitters!”
Our headliner will be the always amazing, Mike Nash!!
Price for tickets will be $30. All money collected, goes to the musicians. You can purchase your tickets “at the door” or you can buy tickets online on our website, at $35 each, as we have to cover the cost of the PayPal Fees.
When you get to Pete’s go in the gate at his North Driveway. (where the concrete driveway is) You can park in the restaurant lot to the North of his house, or in the business lot to the South of his house, but please enter the gate on the North Driveway. That’s where we will have someone collecting the money.
Given the size of Pete’s yard, there is plenty of room to practice social distancing.
We are still having our charity silent auction and raffle baskets, so please donate what you can for these. We have a lot of nice items coming in! Thank you to all who have donated so far!!
Please let me know what you plan on donating for the silent auction, by July 20, so I can make up bid sheets in advance.
Start getting those gift baskets ready as well!

What to bring for the event :
- A chair
- Sunscreen
- A Canopy for shade, if you have one
- Your own drinks
- Your own food. (Due to COVID-19, we feel it is best for everyone to bring their own food and rather than our traditional pot luck)
Since this is going to most likely be a smaller event this year, we’ve decided to focus on only one charity. That is “My Fairy Dawg Mother.”

Prior to the concert, Thom will be doing a small art show. For those who haven’t seen his work, check out his Facebook page and his Forever Home Pet Portraits. Thom is an amazing artist.. and will have some of his work on display and will take orders for personal pet portraits!
Thom & Coley are also playing the Headwaters Music Festival in Creede, Colorado on Sunday August 30 at 2:00 pm. If anyone is interested in details on that show, please reply to this newsletter and I will send details.

Club T-shirts!!
We still have plenty of t-shirts for our 25th Anniversary!!! We have quite an assortment of colors (Pink, as shown below, Black, Butter Yellow, Caribbean Blue, Steel Gray, Periwinkle, Salmon and Sea Foam Green). We have a wide variety of sizes, and both men’s and lady’s cut shirts (lady’s cut are only available in pink). The one shown below is a lady’s cut, with both front and back pictured.
Please contact Robin or Pete to arrange getting your cool new club shirt! The cost is $30 each. (if you can’t make it to a meeting to pick one up, drop a check in the mail to us and please add $5 per shirt for shipping.)
The t-shirts are stored at Pete’s house, so give Pete a call if you want to stop by and pick up a shirt or 2, plus we will have them at all the club meetings.

Jeff Dunham is coming to the 1ST BANK Center (Broomfield Events Center).
The SHOW IS MOVED TO December 12, 2020!!
Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few. We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each. Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online. It will be a very fun night. “Jeffafa” is a SUPER funny!
