Happy Friday Parrot Heads!
We have no official club events this weekend.
However, I do want to take an opportunity to send a big THANK YOU to everyone who came to our meeting last Saturday. You all came and gave graciously to help support Scott Clark’s family, given the recent tragedy involving his sister-in-law, niece and nephew. You raised an incredible $2200 for the family, which will go directly to Scott’s brother Sean to help with their immediate needs and expenses. They have a long road ahead of them, but hopefully this will help alleviate some of the challenges. I also wanted to share with you that Scott is very thankful, speechless even (which if you know him – never happens) for everyone’s willingness to give so selflessly to someone you probably don’t even know. So thanks again to everyone who helped.

Additionally, though there are no “official” club events, Chris and I will be at Lone Tree Brewing this evening for Happy Hour. We’re hanging out particularly for those of you who purchased Las Vegas show tickets, and we’ll have them for you to pick up. However, even if you don’t have tickets you can still come join us for a beer if you’d like. It is Friday after all… and I know you all like beer…
