CPHC Weekly News

Hey everyone! I hope that you’re having a good week. We are almost to the weekend, and for many of us, that means Meeting of the Minds time!  If you won’t be joining us in Key West next week, I’m sorry. Hold down the fort back here at home for us, okay? You will all be with us in spirit! There will be no newsletter next week since I’ll be away, so you get rid of me for a week, so that’s something!

Club Meeting Last Week

Last Saturday we had our monthly club meeting at Hopper’s! Thank you to everyone who came out! We enjoyed some great music, raffled some fun prizes (including so many bottles of Jack-O-Blasts!) and we once again had a lot of peanut butter and food donations. Best of all, this month between our raffle and the money raised at Red Rocks we raised $547 for the fight against breast cancer. Well done, phlock!

At the meeting last weekend we also announced the 2017 St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be on Saturday, March 11, 2017. The theme this year is “The Emerald Celebration.” All you have to do now is save the date! We will start planning our float likely late this year, or very early in 2017.

Red Rocks T-Shirt Orders

Yesterday was the deadline to get your Party on the Rocks t-shirt orders in to me. If you emailed in an order, you should have gotten a confirmation back from me by now. If you haven’t gotten a confirmation – please email me again to make sure I have your order. I am submitting the final order tomorrow morning, and once again, we are not ordering extras. After tomorrow, I’m going to retire from the t-shirt sale business until at least next year!

Meeting of the Minds

Once again, next week is Meeting of the Minds (MOTM) in Key West! We have a phlock of 60 registered to attend, so I’ll see many of you down there. If you registered & aren’t able to attend, you can make arrangements for someone to pick up your swag bag, so if you haven’t already done that let me know. If you’re attending MOTM you should have gotten an email last Monday with MOTM updates, and another, final email will be sent this Monday. Check them out, and let me know if you want your contact info shared with the group, and/or if you have any parties or events you want us to put out there for club members who are attending. Watch for Monday’s email for a final contact list, meetup list, and some great resources about who-is-performing-where for while you’re in Key West. If there is anything else you suggest I include in this final pre-MOTM email, reply to let me know before Monday.
