Happy Thursday Parrot Heads! We are nearing the finish line to the weekend. I think we’re gonna make it! Here is what we have happening this weekend and beyond:
Beer Friday Tomorrow at Barb & Larry’s!
Larry and Barb Ruden are hosting Beer Friday at their Lakewood home tomorrow, Friday, July 21. Come on by to mix and mingle with your fellow Parrot Head friends and celebrate the start of the weekend. Stop by anytime after 6pm and enjoy the Ruden’s awesome backyard! Bring a snack or side to share, plus your drink of choice. It’s sure to be a phun time! Find the email address in your member newsletter, or contact for the info.
Also happening tomorrow: Mark Mulligan & Kelly McGuire house concert in Colorado Springs!
There is so much phun to choose from this Friday! If you live down south, you may be interested a great house concert, hosted by CPHC friends JJ & Donna Klikus! Mark Mulligan & Kelly McGuire will be performing. Doors open at 5:30 pm and the concert will begin at 6:30 pm. Bring your favorite dish to share, listen to great musicians, see old friends and make new ones! The cost is $25 per person. If you want to RSVP or would like more details, contact and I’ll send you their email address. It’s going to be a fun night!
Party With A Purpose: Volunteers Needed
Next month is our annual Party With A Purpose, and we need your help to make it all happen!
If you’re attending the party, please consider donating an hour or two of your time to help out. We need volunteers to help with tickets, help to direct traffic and organize things (donations, food, tents, etc.) as people arrive, sell raffle tickets, help make trash runs when necessary, and help cook up the burgers, hot dogs, etc.
It takes a phlock to pull off such a fun and successful party, and we appreciate all of you who can pitch in! If you can give a bit of your time to help out, please contact Lee Grodsky. His email is in your member newsletter, or reach out to for his info. Lee can work with you to determine what time and task would be the best.

I know, we’ve been hyping up these tickets for a while now. But if you’re still on the fence, or if you just don’t know what this party is all about, we want to help.

We even threw in a few photos from the previous years so you can see what you’ve been missing.
