TGIF Parrot Heads! Wow, July has just flown by, hasn’t it? Before you know it autumn will be here. You’d better get out and enjoy these summer weekends while they’re still here!

Here’s what’s happening this week:

Tonight: Farwell Happy Hour for Glenn and Marilyn

As we previously mentioned, long time CPHC members, friends and all-around awesome people, Glenn and Marilyn Schwoegler, are leave Colorado for sunny Florida. Join them tonight for a farewell Happy Hour at Lone Tree Brewing Company (8200 Park Meadows Dr #8222, Lone Tree). They plan on being there by 5:30pm, but we’ll likely arrive even earlier. Come by for a beer, and to wish our phriends well on their new adventure!

Volunteers Needed for PWAP

We are still looking for volunteers for the big Party With a Purpose next month!  If you can give an hour or two fo your time at the party to help out, please contact Lee Grodsky to sign up to help. He’s also almost out of tickets – so consider this your last call if you need to get yours!

More House Concerts on the Horizon

Roger and Vicki Sams have let us know about of several great concerts coming up, so save the dates!

Most of these will be house concerts in Colorado Springs, though we’re still confirming all the details. We’ll have more information for you in our next newsletter. If you can’t wait for more info or want to RSVP for your spot, or you can contact the Sams directly for more info. Their email is in your member newsletter email, or contact us to get more info.

  • John Frinzi and Aaron Sherz will perform the night after our Party With a Purpose, August 20.
  • Thom Shepherd and Coley McCabe are plauing at the Western Jubilee in downtown Colorado Springs on Saturday, August 26.
  • Copper Skye (Heather Vidal and Dave Huxta) are playing at the Sam’s house on September 17
  • Latitude (Tom and Michelle Becker) are playing October 15 – it will be a John Denver Tribute!
