Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Yes, I know it’s only Thursday. But let’s admit it, if you have to work tomorrow you’re not going to get any substantial work done. So let’s just all agree to start the weekend right now. And speaking of the weekend, we have a fun Parrot Head event for you this Saturday, so let’s jump right in with with all the details:
Boat/Dock Party at Chatfield Marina
This Saturday, May 28, from 11am to 7pm or ??
Tom Rompies is hosting a boat/dock party this coming Saturday May 28 at the Chatfield Marina on P dock #31. Rules are the same as a Beer Friday, just BYOB and lunch or snacks to share. Tom has a BBQ if you want to bring something to cook, and will have some Brats and Chips to eat. Bring a chair to sit in, sunscreen, and whatever else you want! Hope to see you there!
Directions to the dock: The easiest way to get to the Marina is using south entrance off Sante Fe and Titan. If you use the Wadsworth entrance just follow the road around till you see a sign for the Marina. When you get to the Marina take the ramp to the store, there will be a gate to your left – use code 416. Once through the gate follow the dock to the end and take a right, again to the end and take a right and Tom is halfway down the dock. Look for a white and red boat with a red bimmini top, probably with some Parrot Head stuff hanging around. Again, he’s on P dock #31.
Beer Friday at Steve and Alison Phillips

It’s time for another Beer Friday, and Steve and Alison Phillips have graciously offered to host the party for June. Beer Friday is just a casual get together at a CPHC member’s house, and it’s a great time for new and existing members to get to know other members of the phlock! Plan on bringing your own beverage (BYOB) and a snack or side to share, and come join the fun! The full address can be found in our newsletter; contact me if you missed it. We will confirm the time & get it in the next newsletter, but it’s safe to say the party will start in the early evening. So mark your calendar and join us there!
Buffett Ticket Payment Reminder
Yeah, by now you know the drill… if you haven’t paid for the Red Rocks tickets you were confirmed, it’s time to get your checks in. Most of you have paid, so we won’t bore you with all the details, but if you haven’t sent your check, please get it in the mail. Email me if you need me to resend the address.
