Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Parrotheads!!  

I hope your holiday season is filled with PEACE, joy, and happiness!   

I hope this newsletter finds you all happy and healthy!   It can be a lonely time of year for some folks, so reach out to fellow Parrotheads and say hello!  Send a text or pick up the phone and call a Parrothead or 2 and let people know you are thinking of them.  

Parrothead News:  As some of you may heard, Pete and Robin bought a house in Phoenix to officially become ‘snowbirds.’  That doesn’t mean we are giving up the CPHC!  Pete will still be at every meeting, if we ever have them again.  Robin will be in Colorado late Spring through early fall… so she will be at some of the meetings as well.  Robin will continue to do all the official CPHC Business.  We will still have Pete’s house in Arvada for our Summer Concert Series and Party with a Purpose, as well as our future St Patrick’s Parade Float builds! 

 Speaking of Summer Concert Series…  As some of you might remember, we were to have the Landsharks play at the “Arvada Smokin’ Tuna” (Pete’s house) this past July.  Unfortunately, that show was cancelled because of the Pandemic.  We’ve been working with Gary Roland and the Landsharks band on new dates for a rescheduled show. It’s looking like we will have a Landsharks concert between the Buffett shows at Red Rocks!  Jimmy is playing at Red Rocks on Tuesday, September 7 and Thursday, September 9, 2021.  The Landsharks will play on Wednesday, September 8, 2021!  Many Parrotheads from other clubs will be in town for the Buffett Red Rocks shows, so we will extend an invitation to members of other clubs to join the Colorado Parrotheads at Pete’s house for the “Concert in Between.”  It’ll be a great time to meet fellow Parrotheads from all over!

Membership Renewal

It’s that time of year again, time for our membership renewal!

Misc. Housekeeping: Now is a great time to update your mailing address, email addresses and phone numbers with the club, if you have moved within the past few years, please send me your current information, so I can update the roster.  The CDs that came out with the Red Rocks Concert tickets showed we have a lot of old and incorrect information. 

Club T-shirts!!

We are running low on club t-shirts for our 25th Anniversary.  We have a few left in each size, but not a big assortment of colors any more.   (Possible color options are: Pink, as shown below, Black, Butter Yellow, Caribbean Blue, Steel Gray, Periwinkle, Salmon and Sea Foam Green).    

Please contact Robin or Pete to arrange getting your cool new club shirt!  The cost is $30 each. (if you can’t make it to a meeting to pick one up, drop a check in the mail to us and please add $5 per shirt for shipping.)

The Lone Star Luau!!! 

Lone Star Luau 5 has been postponed!!!  
The Luau will still be held in Conroe, Texas at the beautiful Margaritaville Lake Resort.

(Broomfield Events Center). 

The SHOW HAS MOVED AGAIN… TO August 2021!!

Several in our group are interested in going, so we checked into group tickets. They don’t really have a group ticket sales up there, and we were not able to get a large group of tickets, but we did manage to get a few.  We have a very limited number, so we will sell them on a first come first serve basis. The cost is $75 each.  Sorry we can’t accommodate everyone, but there are still tickets for sale, so if you’d like to go, and can’t fit into our limited number, please buy some tickets online.  It will be a very fun night. “Jeffafa” is a SUPER funny! Contact Robin if you’d like to buy tickets.
